Default What engines did the 55 = 56 = 57 chevy have

The 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevrolet models primarily offered a 235 cubic inch inline-six cylinder engine as the base option, with the introduction and increasing availability of the 265 cubic inch V8 "Turbo-Fire" engine throughout the years, with higher horsepower options like the "Power Pack" and later, the larger 283 cubic inch "Super Turbo-Fire" V8 in the 1957 models; all considered part of the "Tri-Five" generation of Chevys.
